Diagnosis of bacterial blood stream infections in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) using 16S rRNA sequencing method

Introduction and Aim: Patients, who are positive for Coronavirus disease 2019 in association with bacterial co-infection may be more severe, the treatment is problematic, cycle prolonged overall. This study aims to investigate blood stream infection using 16S rRNA sequencing methods.
 
 Materials Methods: Two ml leftover samples from 50 patients laboratory confirmed RT-PCR 2019, got admitted intensive care unit (ICU) Quarantine Center Baghdad, Iraqi were enrolled this clinical case series study.
 Results: The total of 13 sample PCR products sequenced. sequencing-based identification these isolates included: Serratia marcescens,Achromobacterxylosoxidans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii Staphylococcus aureus.
 Conclusion:The significance considering even setting a cultures negative clinicians ought know about marcescens an A. xylosoxidans while treating due resistant pattern many antimicrobial agents.
